This workshop provides valuable tips and strategies for addressing any challenging interpersonal issue in a manner that both maximizes results and improves the relationship. The workshop will cover the following:

Direct Communication – Being direct is a sign of respect.  It provides clarity and empowers other people to make choices based on all the facts.  Discover the top three mistakes people make when broaching difficult conversations – and learn to avoid them.

Intention – You generally get what you intend.  If your intention is to prove that you are right or maintain your “nice guy” image, the conversation probably won’t go very well.  Learn a simple but powerful technique for creating an intention that is guaranteed to improve your work and family relationships.

Dealing with angry people – People want to feel heard and validated.  Learn some tricks that you can use to respond in a professional and constructive manner to any sort of anger frustration or sadness regardless of whether it is directed at you or at other people.
